Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). She’s previously joked that her “ life never goes smoothly ” and it would seem it was something of a premonition, as reality TV personality Gemma Collins was evacuated from her hotel at 5.30am this morning after an emergency fire alarm sparked chaos.

It came after the former TOWIE star performed in her GC’s Big Night Out show in Cardiff last night. On her Instagram stories, Gemma followed her bodyguard, Sid, down the stairs of their hotel, and said: "Guys you couldn't write it.

It's half five in the morning. "After my performance last night I went for a bit of dinner, came home and got woken up this morning by a fire alarm.
