Arthur Dixon Arthur Dixon, a 25-year-old from Dallas, today announced his campaign for the Texas 30th Congressional District seat in the United States House of Representatives.

The seat is open in the 2022 election following Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson’s announcement last month that she is retiring from public office after 50 years as an elected official, the last 30 of which she spent in Congress.

Dixon described himself as a “lifelong Texan” and “one of the first GenZ and youngest major political candidates in Texas history,” according to a press release announcing his candidacy.
