I'M A Celeb's Matt Hancock got backing from an unlikely source after some claimed he was being "bullied" in the jungle. Gogglebox's Jenny Newby urged campmates to lay off the MP while watching him being grilled on the Channel 4 show last night.

Campmates including Chris Moyles, Scarlette Douglas and Charlene White were shown standing or sitting around Matt, firing questions at him.

Outraged Jenny, watching alongside Lee Riley, cried: "Somebody stick up for him, for God's sake." Lee, who wasn't nearly so sympathetic, told her: "Shut up, you," causing her to snap back: "I don't care." She defended him, insisting to her unimpressed pal: "He wasn't the killer, Covid was the killer." More on GoggleboxOH PETE!
