Piers Morgan backs Adele over ‘anti-trans’ comments following gender-neutral BRITs

Piers Morgan has weighed into the row over Adele’s ‘anti-trans’ comments following Tuesday night’s gender-neutral BRIT awards.

The TV Presenter and former journalist, defended the singer who has came under fire for comments she made after she won Artist of the Year award at the BRIT Awards.

For the first time ever the BRITs scrapped male and female categories to make the UK’s biggest music award show gender-neutral.

The move has angered some people and last night, as Adele picked up her third gong of the evening, she pointed out how Best Female category no longer existed and told the nation that she ‘really loves being a woman.” Adele, 33, said: “This is amazing, I really wasn’t expecting this one at all.
