stabbed during a horror incident in Birmingham city centre, police have confirmed. Officers declared a ‘major incident’ after being called to the scene at around 12.30am on Sunday, with reports of people being knifed in an area known as the Gay Village.
Residents are being urged to stay away from the area while cops try and determine exactly what caused the disturbance.It is not currently known how many people have been hurt or how severe their injuries are.
A heavy police presence remains at the scene, which is known as the Gay Village, and cordons are expected to remain in place for some time.
