The project will cost an estimated $23 million. The center has begun a $4 million capital campaign to fund the facility and more than $1 million of that has already been raised.
Resource Center CEO Cece Cox explained that $750,000 came as a grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank and Veritex Bank in Dallas.
