Legendary RuPaul's Drag Race star Laganja Estranja has revealed that she is a transgender woman. The 32-year-old performer, who was on the sixth season of the popular show, paid tribute to those that inspired her on to come out as transgender and thanked those that made the path easier to navigate.

Laganja shared her big news in an interview with Entertainment Weekly telling them: "There are so many other women around me who've inspired me to come forward today, and it's because of their fight and their struggle that I'm able to really do this and say that I'm nervous, but I'm not scared. "I'm not going to live my life in fear anymore." Laganja said that her character when performing has helped her make the decision to come out easier.
