Steven Caulker has firmly denied he had a gentleman's agreement with Celtic when Brendan Rodgers was boss before he pitched up at Dundee in 2018.
But he reckons he made the wrong call turning down the then Scottish Premiership champions for QPR in the summer of 2017. The former England cap - who had been loaned to Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool two years earlier - was picking up the pieces of a career that had suffered from depression and other off-field issues.
