He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Taylor Swift is kicking off Pride month by joining forces with GLAAD. The music superstar, 31, joined GLAAD’s latest initiative in support of the Equality Act by signing their petition, #SummerOfEquality.

The petition will help urge U.S. Senators to pass the act, which would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, public accommodations, education, federally funded programs and more.

The Fort Worth City Council this week issued a proclamation honoring LGBTQ Pride Month. Felipe Gutierrez, president of Tarrant County Stonewall Democrats, said, “I’m a proud and out Fort Worth resident and enjoy uplifting our local LGBTQ organizations.
