And here we are: The United States Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Pregnant people no longer have the right to an abortion.
It’s up to individual states now. Remember when marriage equality was like that? When you could be legally married in, say, California and then travel back to your home state of, say, Michigan and no longer be legally married (like my wife and me)?
That was awful. And that’s what people are going to have to grapple with during one of the most challenging times of their lives: pregnancy.
