Several social media users are potentially endangering the lives of closeted LGBTQ+ Olympics athletes by sharing screenshots of their Grindr profiles to TikTok and Twitter.

In several TikTok videos reviewed by TheGailyGrind, Grindr users are shown setting their location near the Tokyo Olympic Village via the app’s “Explore” feature.

From there, the users screen record their interactions with what appear to be Olympic athletes on the app, revealing the identities of several athletes.

Insider notes that several of the interactions included “many of whom are not yet out, or representing countries wherein homosexuality is illegal or discriminated against.
