Star Trek and American Horror Story star Zachary Quinto will make his West End debut in the critically acclaimed Best of Enemies.
The play is a fictional retelling of the televised debates between William F Buckley Jr and Gore Vidal during the 1968 Republican and Democratic conventions.
Their rivalry revolutionised the way American current affairs and political TV debates were broadcast. It opened at the Young Vic last year and will make its West End premiere in November.
Best of Enemies will be housed at the Noël Coward Theatre for the entirety of its 14-week run. Quinto has replaced Charles Edwards as Vidal and David Harewood will reprise his role as Buckley.
