As the new director and national board representative of the Log Cabin Republicans of Dallas, I am excited to share my story and our vision for the “Unity Party” — a coalition dedicated to common sense, bipartisanship and a strong commitment to the issues that matter most to all Americans.

My journey reflects the resilience of the human spirit. As a proud gay Assyrian Christian from Iran, I align deeply with the values of the Republican Party.

My life has been a testament to overcoming adversity and embracing the freedoms that this great nation offers to everyone. Growing up in Iran, I faced challenges that many may find hard to comprehend.

Being part of a minority community, I often encountered hostility toward my identity. My sexuality was a source of shame in a society that sought to silence me.
