Welcome to my monthly Woof column, Dallas Voice readers. What a month January was! Unfortunately, things don’t seem like they are going to improve anytime soon. I think many of us across our nation are genuinely concerned for our well-being.

When it comes to love, it seems we often focus on finding it in a romantic sense. Many yearn to find “the one,” and sometimes, in that journey, we forget to focus on self-love.

This is the fifth and last installment in a series for this column, answering readers’ thorniest questions about sex and love as part of a special magazine issue on relationships. My wife and I have been together for almost 10 years. We met in college, and our relationship is wonderful overall.
