9 genuine reactions I had while watching ‘Basic Instinct’ for the first time ever
The year was 1992: Boys II Men and Sir Mix-A-Lot were smashing the charts. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was in its second season.
Baggy clothing was all the rage.But most importantly, Basic Instinct hit theaters in March of 1992–changing cinematic history (and how we look at ice picks) forever.
The film, starring Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas, tells the story of a tough cop assigned to a murder case… only, the cop (Douglas) has a knack for sleeping with the women he is investigating (including but not limited to Stone).All of that to say, I was a whoppingly impressionable two-years-old when the Sharon Stone vehicle was released.
