He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Cherie Garcia to that list, because she just served the internet a master class on how to respond to your child coming out as trans — and doing it in the most mom way ever.

In a post on Twitter, Garcia shared a letter they recently received from her son, Crow. The photo shows a letter created mostly from cut-out letters from a magazine, ransom note-style.

It read: “Congatulations! [sic] You are now the proud owner of your very own son. Please use he/him pronouns for me now. Thanks Crow.”While Crow certainly gets points for creativity, Garcia did have some, well, constructive feedback for him. “My teenager handed me this envelope and asked that I wait to open it until after he went to his dad’s house,” Garcia wrote in the caption.
