Buckingham Palace 'faces historical bullying claims' after Meghan Markle review

Buckingham Palace is said to be braced for a string of historical bullying complaints after allegations against Meghan Markle reportedly "opened up a can of worms".

The Duchess of Sussex has denied the bullying allegations as Buckingham Palace launches a review into the claims. Now a number of former palace staff members are said to be considering coming forward with new complaints about the palace.

The new string of complaints allege a toxic "culture of bullying" in the royal household and do not relate to Meghan Markle, the Sun reports.

At least five historical claims made by ex-staffers may now be reopened in the wake of the palace's announcement. The complaints are said have been reported at the time by workers against other members
