Archivist Penny McMahon will be giving a FREE 30-minute talk in Parliament on Thursday, July 30 from 6pm, which will draw upon historical documents to highlight the significance of parliamentary legislation on the lives of LGBTQ+ people and tell some of their stories.In the first half of the talk, Penny will discuss the legislative persecution that LGBTQ+ people have faced, going back to Tudor times.
