Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
Gemma Collins 'didn't sleep for days' when dad was in hospital with Covid
Gemma Collins has revealed she "didn't sleep for days" when her dad was in hospital with coronavirus. The Towie star said during an Instagram Live interview with Sassy Shop Wax on Friday: "My dad was really unwell – you can see how tired I am.
I literally haven't slept. Because he was in hospital I was just so worried all the time.' "It's only really now that I'm catching up on my sleep." Rubbing her face with emotion, she added: He's out of hospital, I don't need to worry.
It's only really now he's home I can start getting everything back together again." Gemma's 73-year-old dad Alan is now back home from hospital after his battle with the virus.
