Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Gemma Collins has insisted that Instagram is nothing but a ‘load of nonsense'. The Diva Forever star, 40, has changed her perception on social media in recent months and has started to realise that most content that influencers post is ‘fake’.

The GC, who moved into her dream ‘forever home’ last month encouraged her fans to get off the gram, and instead, focus on being present in her latest instalment of The Gemma Collins Podcast.

Lifting the lid on her new-found sense of confidence, the reality TV icon told her listeners that she’s been feeling a lot lighter since cutting down the amount of time she spends on social media, and Instagram in particular.
