Trump was born and raised in Queens, a borough of New York City, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

House of Pride brings back Connecting the Letters for a second year

House of Pride announces the return of Connecting the Letters, a campaign led by the charity, with Dr Ranj. The campaign was started to help keep the LGBTQ+ community connected during lockdown, the goal being to help combat the loneliness felt within the community.

Last year, celebrities such as Beanie Feldstein and Azure Antoinette wrote letters for the campaign. The annual campaign was launched in LGBTQ+ History Month in 2021, and this year the initiative is also is aligning with Black History Month for October 2022.

In this year’s campaign, four LGBTQ+ celebrities have been asked to write a love letter to the community, the first announced being Dr Ranj, known best for ITV’s This Morning and Strictly Come Dancing.

The letters will be personalised and sent out to subscribers throughout the month of October, alongside a bespoke greeting card crafted from the celebrities’ words from BeKnown Inc.
