Non è di maggio (Arkadia, Cagliari 2021, pp. 256) è l’ultimo romanzo di Luigi Romolo Carrino, appena uscito in libreria.

Nonostante l’autore abbia scritto altri testi in cui i personaggi si confrontano con il tema dell’omosessualità (vedi ad esempio Acqua storta, 2007), in questo caso non c’è traccia evidente di gaytudine.

Quello che un autore gay, però, non può non fare è scrivere a prescindere dalla propria omosessualità, come se essa non avesse influenza sul modo di percepire sé, la visione del mondo, le storie da raccontare, la scelta dei personaggi, la scrittura.
