Kristen Stewart is looking for “LGBTQ+ ghost hunters” for her new reality show

Kristen Stewart is on the search for LGBTQ+ ghost hunters and mediums for her upcoming paranormal reality series. In a video shared by her hairstylist and friend CJ Romero on Instagram, the actress told fans: “I am scarily excited to announce that I’m teaming up with Scout, the producers of Queer Eye, Legendary and The Hype on the most gayest, most funnest, most titillating queer ghost-hunting show ever. “We need to find the most incredible LGBTQ+ ghost hunters, paranormal specialists, mediums, psychics, investigators who will lead the pack on this super gay ghost hunting adventure.” Queer ghost hunters can apply for a role via a questionnaire, where they will be asked about their prior experiences with the paranormal, through the website shared with the video.

Stewart first announced her foray into gay ghost hunting in November 2021. In an interview with The New Yorker, the star said the series, which she’s developing with her wife Dylan Meyer, is a “paranormal romp in a queer space”. “Gay people love pretty things,” said Stewart, who didn’t confirm whether she will appear in the series or behind the camera. “So we are aiming for a richness.” Stewart will also serve as an executive producer on the untitled series, according to the casting call announcement.

Last year, she also announced that she will make her directorial debut with an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s The Chronology of Water.
