During the episode the Big Brother star’s dad, Hughie senior gave a startlingly honest account of his reacton to his son coming out as gay saying: ‘I couldn’t accept it in any way I was one of those people who was like, “you’re straight and nothing else.” ‘I was a horrible person.
We went through a really hard time. I was shocked because I did not know until Hughie went on Big Brother. ‘I was really hurt inside.
