Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Loose Women's Brenda Edwards to replace Gemma Collins in Chicago musical

Brenda Edwards is set to replace Gemma Collins as Mama Morton in the musical Chicago after the former TOWIE star pulled out due to an injury.The Loose Women panellist, 53, who recently revealed she speaks to her late son Jamal "every day", will be reprising the role in which she made her West End debut over a decade ago.

She first appeared as Mama Morton back in 2007 at the Adelphi Theatre after competing on The X Factor. Presenter Brenda will join the cast for dates available across June and July at Sunderland Empire, Winter Gardens Blackpool, Sheffield Lyceum Theatre, Norwich Theatre Royal and New Theatre Oxford.

Back in March, it was announced that the former The Only Way Is Essex star would take on the role of Mama Morton. However, just one week out from her big debut at the Sunderland Empire Theatre, a spokesperson for the production confirmed that she had quit.
