Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.
Loose Women panellist Brenda Edwards has been officially announced as the replacement for Gemma Collins in the musical Chicago.
Edwards will be playing prison guard Mama Morton, the same character she played in her West End debut back in 2007. She will be joining the cast for dates in June and July in Sunderland, Cardiff, Blackpool, Sheffield, Norwich and Oxford before departing the production on July 23.
Aside from her 2007 role in the musical, Edwards has also appeared in Hairspray, Carousel and We Will Rock You. It was announced earlier this week that TOWIE alumni Collins had to pull out of the tour after sustaining a knee injury a week before the opening night.
