Megan Barton Hanson shot to fame on Love Island back in 2018 where she placed fourth with partner Wes Nelson. Now she has revealed that she would return to the hit show on the one condition that it would be for a gay season.Addressing the Cambridge Union, the 27-year-old added that there was more work to be done to show proper bisexual representation on TV shows, without only examples of tokenism. She explained: “I think it would have been a completely different experience for me if there'd have been gay people on the show.
It didn't even enter my head, I just assumed that every girl on there was completely straight.“Logistically I don't know how it'd work if they just chucked in a few token gay people in there.
