Republican U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Saturday made a series of bizarre accusations regarding Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten, while speaking at disgraced former president Donald Trump’s most recent political rally in Commerce, Georgia.

Greene, who has previously made statements questioning whether the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were an “inside job” and expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory holding that a secret cabal of cannibalistic pedophiles runs the US government, appeared to warn Buttigieg and his husband against entering women’s restrooms via bicycle or electric car. “And you know what?” Greene screamed to the crowd. “Pete Buttigieg can take his electric vehicles and his bicycle, and he and his husband can stay out of our girls’ bathrooms.” Many took Greene’s warning as a failed yet reprehensible attempt to equate LGBTQ people with pedophiles.

Watch Greene’s rant below: Meghan McCain weighed in on the controversy by branding Greene “a freak” over her attack. McCain, a former panelist on The View and the daughter of the late John McCain, shared a clip from Greene’s speech on Twitter, adding: “Just keep in mind Trump supporters and GOP leadership have more of a problem with @Liz_Cheney than this freak.” The post Marjorie Taylor Greene Warns Pete Buttigieg And Husband To “Stay Out Of Girls’ Bathrooms” appeared first on The Gaily Grind.
