Lin Moses died at her home in San Francisco following a brief battle with cancer.Born in Iowa, Lin moved to San Francisco in the 1970s as a feminist lesbian single mom.
In the 1980s she served on the San Francisco Pride parade committee and worked with other activists to create a more inclusive parade to elevate the voices of women, people with disabilities, and people of color.
She contributed to the first years of having child care at the parade, making it possible for LGBTQ parents to attend and march.
She spent many years volunteering at abortion clinics, AIDS organizations, and at the Women's Building.Lin always knew where to find the best croissant and macchiato.
