An actor from Punk’d is setting the record straight about a recently resurfaced clip of Travis Barker. In an old episode of MTV’s prank show, the blink-182 drummer was getting dinner with Shanna Moakler when an actor pretending to be his waiter began flirting with her and acting like they used to date. Travis is seen getting agitated and tells the server, “Yeah, she usually dates (bleep),” starting a heated confrontation between the pair.
The waiter is heard telling the musician that he didn’t appreciate being called that, leading some fans to speculate Travis used a homophobic slur in the scene. Click inside to find out what the actor from the scene said… Ahmed Ahmed, who played the waiter in the episode, explained to TMZ that Travis used the term “f–king a–holes” in the clip.
He added that the drummer chilled out once host Ashton Kutcher came out and let him know he was being pranked. Ahmed went on to say he didn’t think Travis would have signed the release forms and allowed the clip to air if he had actually said a homophobic slur.
He added that his friends had suggested he speak out on Travis‘ account once the rumors started gaining traction online.
