The husband of anti-LGBTQ+ Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Perry Greene, has filed for divorce.According to court documents, Perry Greene filed to divorce the right-wing lawmaker on Tuesday, the Daily Beast reports.

The papers said that the couple’s 27-year marriage was “irretrievably broken.” They also indicated that the Greenes had already been separated.Marjorie Taylor and Perry Greene met in college.The outlet reports that Perry Greene has requested the divorce kept under seal.

He argued, “that the record will contain sensitive personal and financial information, the public disclosure of which would negatively impact the parties’ privacy interests.” Rep.
