Supreme Court rejected the board's appeal to have the ban reinstated, the Associated Press reported.The ACLU represented Gavin Grimm, 22, in his lawsuit against the Gloucester County School Board for six years.

He sued the board over being told to use the bathroom that corresponded with his birth sex, preventing him from using the boy's facilities at Gloucester High School.His lawsuit ended in late June when the Supreme Court rejected the board's appeal to reinstate the bathroom rule after lower courts ruled the policy was discriminatory and unconstitutional.Now, the board has agreed to pay for the ACLU's hefty legal fees in a Thursday court filing with a U.S.
