Police have shut down part of London’s Soho again this evening after finding a second bomb in just two days. Yesterday’s police cordon covered much of the UK capital’s LGBT+ district.
Today’s is much smaller and is focused around Dean Street and its side roads. Like yesterday’s bomb, this one is believed to date from World War II.
During the war, the Luftwaffe – Nazi Air Force – dropped 503 tons of high explosive and 30,000 incendiary bombs on the UK capital.
