HIV/sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) has responded to new figures from Public Health England (PHE), which show there were 468,342 sexually transmitted infections (STIs) reported in England in 2019 – a 5% rise on 2018.
The data shows that gay and bisexual men and people living with HIV continue to be two of the groups most impacted by STIs.
