Hulu has released the first trailer for their upcoming miniseries Welcome to Chippendales. Created by Robert Siegel (Pam & Tommy) and inspired by the book Deadly Dance: The Chippendale Murders, the series stars Kumail Nanjiani as Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee, “an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire”.

Murray Bartlett, best known for his Emmy Award-winning performance in the first season of The White Lotus, co-stars as a choreographer called Nick De Noia, who was crucial in the rise (and fall) of Banerjee.

The cast also includes Annaleigh Ashford (American Crime Story) as Irene, Juliette Lewis (Yellowjackets) as Denise, Quentin Plair (The Good Lord Bird) as Otis, Robin de Jesús (tick, tick… BOOM!) as Ray Colon, Spencer Boldman (Cruise) as Lance McCrae and Andrew Rannells (Girls5eva), whose role is unconfirmed.

Nicola Peltz Beckham (Holidate) and Dan Stevens (The Beauty and the Beast) will guest star in the series, which will run for eight episodes on Hulu.
