X Factor bosses are set to be sued after five solo acts and one group are joining forces claiming that going on the show led to “bullying, mistreatment and neglect”.
Speaking to the Mirror, one former singer opened up about the “tears, trauma and anxiety” behind a planned multi-million-pound lawsuit against Simon Cowell’s firm SyCo.
The contestants are joining forces to hold the show accountable. The now defunct ITV talent show ran from 2004-2018, pulling in up to 14million viewers at the height of its popularity.
One claimant told the Sunday Mirror : “Being on the show was a horrific experience. We’ve been suffering for years as a result.
