Jeopardy! winner Amy Schneider has made LGBTQ+ history again with her Tournament of Champions win. On 21 November, the beloved show hosted the coveted tournament – which featured some of the most successful contestants from this past last year.
After winning three games against her opponents, Andrew He and Sam Buttrey, Schneider was officially crowned the winner of Jeopardy!’s Tournament of Champions, making her the first trans woman to compete and win the grand prize of $250,000.
Shortly after her win, the new champion took to Twitter to thank her supporters before delivering a sweet message to her wife. “I owe so much to so many people today.
But above all, I can’t find enough ways to say how lucky I am that the most amazing woman in the world has chosen to spend her life with me.
