Bridgerton star Jessica Madsen has thanked fans for all their “beautiful messages” after continuing to open up about her identity.
The actress, who plays Cressida Cowper in Netflix’s period drama, commemorated the start of Pride Month (1 June) by publicly sharing that she’s “in love with a woman, loud about it and proud about it!” Her Instagram post, which included several slides of Pride-related messages and imagery, as well as a short video of Madsen with rainbow rhinestones on her face, was widely celebrated by fans.
Madsen’s Bridgerton co-stars Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), and Hannah Dodd (Francesca Bridgerton) also extended their love.
Joanna Bobin, who plays Cressida’s mother Lady Araminta Cowper, said: “Go baby girl! Love you”. “WOW thank you for all your beautiful messages,” Madsen responded.
