Dani Ceballos completes Arsenal loan deal for second straight season

Dani Ceballos has returned to Arsenal on loan after Real Madrid sanctioned another season-long loan deal in north London. The Spaniard moved to the Emirates last summer under Unai Emery with the Gunners fighting off competition for his services.

Arteta replaced his compatriot in December but was impressed by Ceballos enough to pursue another loan deal. The 24-year-old made over 30 appearances for Arsenal last term, scoring twice including a crucial late winner in their FA Cup quarter final against Sheffield United. “Dani was and integral part of our team last season and finished the season in excellent form," said Arteta. "I love Dani’s passion and commitment and he’s a highly skilful player.
