East Bay Stonewall Dems won't endorse in AD 18 special election

The East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club will not make an endorsement in the open 18th Assembly District special election after neither candidate garnered 60% of the vote during an online meeting August 3.

That means neither queer social justice attorney Janani Ramachandran nor Alameda Unified School Board president Mia Bonta will nab the backing of the East Bay's LGBTQ Democratic club in their race to succeed Bonta's husband, Rob Bonta, who resigned earlier this year to become California's attorney general.
