Ellen DeGeneres surprised a lesbian couple who went viral earlier this month for asking the talk show host to attend their wedding because one of the couple's parents does not approve of the marriage.

On November 5, Kate Austin, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, tweeted: "hi @chrissyteigen & @TheEllenShow !! my parents aren't going to attend my wedding because they don't like that i'm gay!
