English actor Ben Aldridge has come out as a ‘proud’ member of the LGBT+ community. The 34-year-old is most famous for his role as ‘Arsehole Guy’ in comedy series Fleabag.
He also starred as Captain Charles James in the BBC military drama Our Girl. And he was Antoine of Navarre on The CW’s historical romantic drama Reign between 2014 and 2017.
At the moment he is starring in the US Batman prequel series Pennyworth. He plays Batman’s father, Thomas Wayne. But the post on Saturday (27 June) on Instagram was the first time he’d spoken publicly about his sexuality.
He wrote: ‘The journey to pride was a long one for me. ‘I love the LGBTQ+ community and am incredibly proud and thankful to be a part of it.
