Over the last few years, there has been a boom in local Pride events, which celebrate the vibrancy of LGBTQ+ people around the country.

Organised by the people living in local communities for those communities, they provide much needed visibility, outreach, and support for LGBTQ+ people – not to mention opportunities for queer people to express their creativity.

With over 180 Pride events taking place all over the UK, there’s a Pride for everyone. And to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Pride movement, Channel 4 has partnered with GAY TIMES for the #ProudAllOver Road Trip, covering LGBTQ+ stories from across the UK.

The campaign will spotlight local Pride events, demonstrating how people outside of cities like Manchester, London and Brighton celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community, even in the most rural locations.
