The singer-songwriter and actor will join Edward Norton and Dave Bautista in the Rian Johnson-directed murder mystery, as well as Daniel Craig, who reprises his role from the original as the Southern private detective Benoit Blanc.

The 2019 original, which was also directed by Johnson, received universal critical acclaim and became a smash hit at the box office, grossing over $300 million worldwide.

It also earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. The film featured an ensemble cast including Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell and Christopher Plummer.
