K-Pop boyband BTS have shared their agony after revealing they have suffered from anti-Asian racism in the past. The iconic pop group made the revelation on Twitter on Tuesday as they spoke out about racial discrimination against Asians, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

The band collectively felt the need to condemn anti-Asian hate as they have previously been victims of racism in the past. In a lengthy tweet, BTS revealed they've been "mocked for the way" they look in the past, as they opened up about their heartbreaking encounters. "We stand against racial discrimination," BTS tweeted out today.

Their tweet comes after recent attacks against people with Asian heritage in the US have risen since the coronavirus pandemic began.
