CORRIE legend Michael Le Vell has revealed he wants to bring back Kevin Webster's famous moustache after it made him a gay icon.
The actor, 57, admits he has even asked bosses if the facial fuzz can make an epic comeback to our screens. Michael revealed: "I actually asked Iain [MacLeod, the soap's executive producer] a couple of years ago could we do it for Movember but apparently we can't because it's a specific charity. "I thought it would be quite fun." Michael also spoke about how the 'tache made him quite the hit with the show's gay fans back in the 80s and 90s. "I went to every gay club and as soon as I shaved it off the bookings stopped," he laughed, adding, "So I'm thinking of growing it back for some cash." Michael has played the mechanic since 1983.
Back in the 80s, Kevin was married to Sally Webster, played by Sally Dynevor, but these days he is wed to Abi (Sally Carmichael).
His current storyline revolves around Abi's plan to run away with baby Alfie. She had the child after a one night stand with Imran (Charlie De Melo).
