Jim B. Mallory of Dallas, formerly of Cornelia, Ga., passed away on April 17, 2022, in Dallas. He was retired from the healthcare computer system industry where he had been employed by IBM, Accenture, Electronic Data Systems and Perot Systems Corporation at multiple locations across the United States.
In addition to Texas and Georgia, Jim had lived in a number of other states including California, New Mexico and North Carolina.
His business years afforded him opportunities to travel to virtually all 50 states as well as European locations. By far, Jim’s favorite place in the world was Paris, France.
He was an active, engaged and continuously sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for almost 40 years. Jim was born at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Ga., in 1954 and was brought up in Mt.
