Pressure is mounting for President Joe Biden's administration regarding protecting LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minnesota) led the charge in an August 2 letter signed by 12 Democratic Senate colleagues to Secretary of State Antony Blinken questioning what was being done to protect LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers.
