Those of us here at home had a mixed bag of feelings: anxious, fearful, neighborly, united. But Come From Away spins a musical tale about those Americans who weren’t here when it happened and found themselves in a middle-of-nowhere town in Newfoundland.
While harrowing, their experiences were certainly different. A musical about 9/11 doesn’t sound quite like a fun time – or at least it’s a hard sell.
