Robin Roberts Says Partner Amber Laign Has Paused Cancer Treatment

Recently it was a little tough there when — because she just wanted to get through it and to have this wrench thrown in our way — but I was able to tell her, as most people [who] have gone through cancer, this happens.”Roberts previously shared back in February that Laign, her partner of nearly two decades, had been diagnosed with breast cancer the previous year and had undergone surgery.The two are no strangers to this struggle, as Roberts previously had her own battle with breast cancer with Laign as her support system.
She was diagnosed in 2007 with breast cancer, then myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), which causes bone marrow abnormality, in 2012.
